Configuration and environment variables
LEXO_ environment variables for OCR language, render resolution, concurrency, batch size, logging, and credentials.json, plus where LEXO stores files.
LEXO works without configuration. When you need to change a default, set an environment variable, or put the same keys in a .env file in the folder you run LEXO from.

Where LEXO keeps things
Run lexo info to see the exact folders on your machine:

data dir: …
config dir: …
- Config folder: where
credentials.jsonusually goes. - Data folder: working copies and temporary files. Help → Clean Up Temporary Files… in the desktop app removes leftovers from earlier sessions.
- OS keychain: the Google sign-in token. Not a file you manage;
lexo logoutremoves it.
Folder locations follow each operating system’s conventions (via platformdirs).
